Pathway to Tarbes
dotted rule blue

The exciting Pathway to Tarbes scheme started in 2007 led by Herts LTA partnered with the County's two High Performance Centres, Batchwood TC and Gosling TC. It is a County-wide talent identification and development process for the youngest aspiring players in the area at mainly mini tennis red level and is heavily supported financially by Herts LTA, and Batchwood and Gosling thus provided at a heavily subsidised cost to players.

Talent Days
Several times a year, the scheme holds "talent days" where we look at players recommended by participating clubs in the County and may select a certain number and invite them to join the Pathway to Tarbes squads. Selectors will be looking for enthusiasm, athleticism, agility, tennis skills.
